Tashya's Ink
Tashya’s Ink is a 4 piece band formed in 2008 and based in PJ/Shah Alam area. The band currently consists of Tashya Basir on vocals and rhythm guitar, Iriz Iziad Abdullah on lead guitar, Ike on bass and Wan on drums. Ike or better known as Zarul Ikhwan is very well known in the bass community and is no surprise that many bands are after him to session for them. A versatile player with awesome bassline and killer groove, Ike fits like a glove with the band's music and vibe. The same can be said about Syarizwan aka Wan. The oldest in the band, he is the backbone of the band with awesome fills and groove. Has played with numerous number of bands over the years but most importantly, his attitude and his instant click with Ike that won the band over. We are on the verge of recording our full EP and hopefully by the end of 2010/early2011, the EP will hit the stores. Tashya's Ink play a mixture of sounds from the elements of blues, alternative, pop rock, acoustic and if we were food we’d be called lasagna.
