The Winner of Malaysia Breakout Showcase 2010
The band won Malaysia Breakout Showcase and is getting a chance to represent Malaysia at the Maldives Breakout Festival on December, 2010. Even though they had a few setbacks during their performance they gave it their best and it proved to be successful. They were the winner of this year following the footsteps of Bunkface who won last year. Tashya's Ink will also have a chance to perform in the UK next year and this will surely be a stepping stone for them. Congratulations Tashya's Ink for winning Malaysia Breakout Showcase and go do Malaysia proud!!!!

Latest Update 03/07/2010
Hey everyone.
It's been quite sometime since our last update on the band's progress. This past week has been very exciting for all of us. We are happy to announce that the band has been going in and out of the studio recording our first full EP. Last weekend, we started recording 2 songs at a studio called The Ark Studio, TTDI. We first laid down the tracks for the drums, then bass and then both electric and acoustic guitars and finally the vocals. The first initial mix, we weren't really satisfied with the vocals and some guitar parts so Tashya and I went back to the studio yesterday evening to re-record her vocals and rearrange my guitar parts. And this time, we think it's spot on. Especially our Malay number. Can't wait to share our songs with all our fans. We are very proud of these two songs. After mixing and mastering, we'll start recording on our next 4 songs. So hopefully everything will be done before the end of the year. It's great to see that everything we planned is going into motion. Anyway, please visit our facebook page, myspace page, reverbnation and cravecharts. Thank you for all the support and love. Band Update!
Hey there everyone,
We are happy to announce that the search for a new bassist and drummer has ended. After months of searching, we finally found two very awesome replacements. Hopefully after this, we can start our recording session and get back on stage to rock your sox off....Welcome on board, Zarul Ikhwan and Syarizwan...

Hi everyone. We've been quiet these past few months and a lot of things have happened. Some of you might know that we've been performing acousticly at Daikanyama Restaurant, Changkat KL every Wednesday since February till April. It was a great experience and it was fun performing in front of a very small crowd but nevertheless it was a very intimate experience. Within the space of one month, we recorded a few videos and set up our own Youtube Channel where you guys can view our originals as well as covers on acoustic guitars at this link www.youtube.com/user/TashyasInk
Sadly, 2 of our members quit the band due to commitment problems. So we are working hard to find worthy replacements for our lineup. There are a few promising individuals but we'll have to see where it goes. Hopefully this time, we won't have to change lineups anymore.
Lastly, we are going to be featured on TV3's morning show, Malaysia Hari Ini on the 11th of May 2010. We are really excited to be featured on one of Malaysia's top morning shows. Hopefully this would lead to other opportunities and most importantly it gives us massive exposure and coverage. LIVE NATIONAL TV YA'll!!! So please tune in and watch us play our original songs.
